Homework
We expect homework to be turned in on time. If you did not do your homework, it counts as a missed assignment. You will have one day to make up this assignment. If you partially complete your homework, it is considered a missed assignment. Homework will be accepted for partial credit up to one day late. *If there are extenuating circumstances please speak to us privately about your situation.
***NO NAME on assessments, homework, classwork etc. will result in a zero.***
Absences
Assessments (tests, quizzes, projects etc.) are worth 50% of your overall grade. If you are absent on the day of an assessment, you must make arrangements with your teacher to make up that assessment within the same number of days you were absent. Your teacher will not remind you to make things up, it is your responsibility to find out what you missed and plan accordingly. If you are absent the day before an assessment and knew about it beforehand, you are required to take the assessment on the original day. If an assessment is not made up within the specified time frame the student will earn a zero on that assignment. If there are extenuating circumstances please speak with your teacher privately.
Academic Honesty
All work, completed in class or assigned for home, is to be one’s own work. Any violations of this policy, including copying other’s homework, class work or tests, will result in a zero on the assignment and a Saturday detention for all students involved. Please read the student handbook for further information.
